About Ava

Hello! My name is Ava, and I'm a Nursing major at Point Loma Nazarene University heading into my second year. I'll be home for the summer and available to nanny through the end of August before returning to school. I've worked with children in a variety of settings and have experience caring for kids of all ages. I've babysat since 2023 for family friends and my nieces and nephews. During my first year of college, I worked in my church's children's ministry caring for children during services and events. I also work for Cru, where I help care for children during parents' conferences and create a safe, fun environment for them. Last semester, I completed a child development course and gained hands-on experience working in my campus daycare alongside teachers. Additionally, I am a certified nursing assistant, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and caregiving skills. I truly enjoy working with children and would love the opportunity to support your family this summer!
