About Ava

Hi! I am a current college freshman who is very passionate about working with kids and building relationships with them as they grow! I have 5 younger siblings ages 6-13 whom I've helped care for my whole life, and have also been babysitting for various families since I was 13. The last 3 years, I worked at local elementary schools up to 4 days a week as an Extended Day Program assistant. I still substitute when home from college. I also worked at a summer camp this past summer where we spent most of the day outside/doing arts and crafts/ running field games and themed activities for campers! I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have my own car for transportation. I love to get out of the house, go for walks, go to the park, etc. and keep kids busy and entertained. I can provide references as well! I do attend college in South Carolina, but I come home for holidays and will be done with the semester and home at the beginning of May.
