About Ava

My husband and I were looking for in-home care for our daughter as working parents, and at the time she was only a year and a half old. We didn’t feel quite ready to enroll her in a school setting, so finding the right nanny was incredibly important to us. From our very first interaction with Ava on Care.com, we immediately connected. Ava brings a sense of calm and peace into our home, and from day one I felt completely confident that our daughter was in safe, loving hands. One of the things we appreciated most was how intentional Ava was about collaborating with us as parents, she took the time to understand our parenting style and consistently mirrored it in the care she provided. Ava does so much more than simply play with our daughter during her shift. She actively engages her in learning, helping teach things like the alphabet, shapes, and age-appropriate skills, all while making it fun and nurturing. It’s clear that Ava and our daughter share a very special bond, and that relationship has meant the world to us. Ava has truly become part of our family. While she is moving on to pursue other opportunities and will no longer be our full-time nanny, we absolutely plan to continue reaching out to her for date nights whenever possible.
