About Ava

Since I was a teenager myself, I have been watching kids from ages 4-11. As I've grown older, the responsibility with those gigs have grown and I am now confident to provide a more holistic care service to your kids( cooking, cleaning, recreation, etc.,)As a childcare provider and a student, I've had a chance to work with kids of varying physical and cognitive abilities. In most recent times, I spent my summer as a youth backpacking guide here in Washington. This taught me many skills including entertaining young minds, risk management/conflict resolution, and overall broadened my understanding of how to connect with folks out of their comfort zone. I have a Wilderness First Responder certification and work well under stress. I'd love the opportunity to care for your kiddos and help out where needed.
