About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava, and I'm 22 years old. I'm currently a student at Central Michigan University studying Communication Sciences and Disorders, with plans to attend graduate school to become a pediatric speech-language pathologist. I have always loved working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel supported. I would describe myself as bubbly, empathetic, and patient. I may be shy at first, but once I get comfortable, my outgoing personality comes out! I have four years of professional childcare experience working at KinderCare, along with experience babysitting my younger cousins. I love creating activities, doing crafts, having conversations, celebrating milestones, and making children feel safe and cared for. I'm currently looking for a family who can work with my college schedule, including mornings, evenings, breaks between classes, and school breaks. I would love the opportunity to become a trusted caregiver for a family close to my hometown!
