About Ava

I am a Senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, studying Human Development and Family Science. There's nothing more rewarding than positively impacting a child's life and watching their growth! With eight years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, I've learned that every child is unique. My bubbly and outgoing personality helps me connect with kids, even those who are initially shy. I prioritize open communication with parents, adapting to your preferred method for updates and addressing any concerns. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and routines while ensuring a fun and engaging experience. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities that promote learning. I am also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and have taken Early Child Development Coursework. Caring for up to five children is within my comfort zone.
