Hello, I am in my fifties & after many years of working in offices as an administrative assistant, I decided it was time to seek more rewarding work. Working with the elderly comes naturally to me. I feel it is my calling. My own mom is elderly & I spend a lot of my spare time with her. I started out working in an assisted living facility, but the ratio of aides to residents did not allow for me to give the kind of quality care the residents deserved. After striking out on my own, I have built up a small clientele and can provide great references. I hired Autumn to be a companion and helper for my elderly mom. As a visitor and companion she was an absolute joy in my mother's life. As a helper she was very good at making sure my mom had everything she needed while at the same time respecting my mother's preferred way of doing things. Unfortunately my mom passed but we were certainly looking forward to working with Autumn long term.
