Hola! I'm happy to share that after COVID-19, I've returned to the work I love-caring for children. Over the past few years, I've cared for 4 new babies in my family and worked overseas as a TESOL instructor for children & adults in China. I also volunteer with diverse language communities in Hampton roads, which allows me to incorporate simple words from Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Amharic, and ASL into daily activities in a fun, age-appropriate way. These experiences have deepened my love for language, culture, & child-centered learning. I bring over 15 years of childcare experience, including daycare and one-on-one care, with a strong focus on toddler safety, routines, and attentive supervision. I use Montessori-inspired approaches to encourage independence and creativity. I am certified in Autism Awareness and Special Educational Needs, which allows me to confidently care for children of all ages and temperaments with patience, understanding, and compassion.
