About Aurora

Hi there, my name is Aurora and I'm 23 years old! I started a degree in psychology, but had to take a break when my mom became ill in 2021. I dropped out to become her full time end-of-life caregiver for 5 years. I have a passion for caregiving, but I am now looking to start again with children! I nannied for a summer when I was 16, and it was one of my favorite experiences ever. I'm looking for a long-term position. My rates start at $17/ an hour for one child. I'm CPR and First-Aid certified, have my own car, and have taken online courses in child development. My focus is on giving your child a safe, and creative space to learn and grow. I love doing crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook and bake, crochet and sew, read, attend concerts, and play with my dogs.
