About Augustus

Hi! I'm Gus, an elementary school PE teacher who enjoys helping kids stay active, build confidence, and have fun. I've taught full-time for two years and have experience with behavior management and structured play. Outside of school, I've spent years caring for kids in my family and community. I'm comfortable with toddlers through elementary-age children and have experience supporting kids with autism using patience and consistent routines. I've also cared for an adult with Down syndrome. I like keeping kids engaged with games, outdoor activities, and simple crafts while limiting screen time. I'm happy to help with tutoring, meal prep, light housekeeping, and pet care. I have a reliable car and valid license. I'm currently finishing my master's and looking for short-term work. I'd love to help however I can!
