Hello there, Having grown up with family members with both Asperger Syndrome and Down's Syndrome, understanding and compassion for individuals living with these special needs was instilled at a young age. I'm high school, I got involved in an after school basketball team for special needs individuals and found it to be one of the more enjoyable and rewarding things I took on. During my career as an optometric tech, I also always enjoyed my time working with patients who had developmental disorders and other special needs. I do not have any specific training in this field and am only applying for caretaking positions where my level of involvement is appropriate to my experience. I am a non-smoker, and drug & alcohol-free. I hope to hear from you!
