I have been working with children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities for most of my life, beginning my volunteer work at age 9. I have over 1, 000 volunteer hours with one of the largest special needs ministries in Houston which I later worked directly with as an intern, worked at overnight camps for individuals with disabilities, and was the first student intern at Baylor. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing ABA therapy to children with autism. I am studying psychology on the pre-med track and plan to pursue developmental pediatrics, focusing on ASD and Down syndrome. Supporting individuals with special needs is truly my passion and greatest joy, and I strive to create a patient, safe, and supportive environment where every child feels understood, valued, and able to thrive.
