I'm passionate about helping elementary school students unlock their full potential in Math, Reading, Writing, and Phonics, as well as MCAS Test Prep. With a graduate degree and 10 years of experience, I create engaging and supportive learning environments tailored to each student's unique style. I actively listen to students and vary my teaching strategies, incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I celebrate small successes, break down complex problems, and encourage curiosity. Open communication is essential for understanding student needs and building trust. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow. I have a car and am comfortable tutoring at various locations.
