About Audrey

Hi! I am going into my sophomore year of college, studying Mathematics and Middle/High School Teaching. I hope to become a middle school math teacher in the future. I love animals, the beach, music, and the outdoors. My experience: I volunteered for 4 summers working as a LIT and LI (Leader in Training and Leadership Intern -- essentially a CIT and Counselor position) for Camp Invention at PCIS. This position involved 2-4 LI's and 2 LIT's in charge of 20 or so kids. I've had kids ranging in ages 5-8, and I loved every second of it. I babysat for a lovely little 3-year-old girl about 5 years ago. I have many younger cousins and once I was old enough, I was often put in charge of the little ones. This past semester I took a class which involved going into a middle school classroom throughout the semester and teaching lessons. Kids are so much fun! Their little brains are so creative and silly, and I hope I can be a person who helps to nurture that as they grow.
