I am a college student studying E Education and Spanish. I have lots of experience as a Spanish and English reading tutor! I love to help students gain confidence in their reading skills. I want my students to always feel respected and that their goals are achievable. I also prioritize encouragement, the student should always leave feeling that they did a good job. When I needed reading help throughout Elementary School at Zeeland Christian, I was consistently discouraged because it felt like I wasn't making progress. I want my students to feel like they are always making progress and that practice is not a waste of time. Living with ADHD, I understand the importance of diversifying methods.
