About Audrey

I'd describe my personality as caring, playful, and kind! I find so much joy in bringing others joy I like working with kids I love helping them explore their creativity and passions, whether that be crafts and art, pretend play, or anything in between! I started working with kids when I was in my senior year of high school as a gymnastics instructor. This is where my love of education and teaching began! I loved seeing the look on my students faces when they finally got "it" and took their learning into their own hands. I've continued as a babysitter throughout the years and also worked as an after school leader for the YMCA in my hometown. When I moved to Monterey to pursue my teaching degree at CSUMB, I took on a contracted position with a babysitting company. I've worked with ages as young as 7 months and as old as 13 years old. One thing you should know about me is I will always strive for clear and consistent communication as well as boundaries.
