I have worked with individuals with special needs for over 15 years. I have worked in day camp and sleep away camp settings. For the past 15 years I have shifted to doing more work with in home respite care. I have extensive experience with many diagnoses. Most recently I have worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and complex mental health diagnoses. At this point in my career I have time to take on one or two families for periodic respite care, 1-2x/month. I have the most availability on the weekends. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to talk about a possible respite setup. I am fully covid vaccinated and willing to mask up and do whatever makes your family feel comfortable.

Audra is beyond fantastic! She came to watch my son for the first time last Sunday and my he is already asking when she can come back! He is physically disabled and uses a wheelchair full time and also has some behavioral difficulties, and she took to him like she'd known him and his needs for years. My son usually has a hard time with new people, but he can't stop talking about how much fun they had. He's usually always asking to play video games, but while she was here he was having too much fun doing arts and crafts and playing board games. Anyone would be lucky to have Audra in their lives!
