About Atzi

My experience with children first began as an activities aide in a pediatric nursing home, where I worked with children ages 1-21. These children required critical attention and support in their daily activities. Much of my day-to-day work involved providing safety, structure, and engagement through activities such as arts and crafts, physical activities for mobile children, and reading. I also have two years of experience working in a residential treatment center for teens ages 12-17. In this setting, I provided essential support to youth in need of mental health care. My role focused on maintaining structure and safety while also helping teens build a sense of self and emotional awareness. In addition, I grew up in a large family and have been surrounded by children for as long as I can remember. I have always enjoyed working with children and find fulfillment in bringing joy and support to their lives.
