About Atticus

I'm Atticus and I have been a healthcare professional since 2017. I have worked in many different setting but have found that at home health is my preferred work environment. I believe my clients receive the best care and can maintain a high quality of life at home. I have specialized in dementia care and have plenty of experience helping not just my clients but their loved ones in navigating the challenges that come with progressing dementia. I also have over a decade of experience caring for adults with disabilities and navigating the new directions waiver. I have worked with clients with cerebral palsy, Angelman's, and those on the the nonverbal and heavy needs end of the autism spectrum. I provide not only specialized care, but also housekeeping duties, including cooking, cleaning, and running errands. A long time ago I learned how important my job is and how I not only provide care to my clients but relief and space for their families to love them to their fullest ability.
