I'm a Paramedic, currently pursing my RN hoping to specialize in pediatric oncology, looking to switch up work and get back to working with kids. I graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health & Psychology. I have been working with children since I was 11, for 6 years as a volunteer in an elementary classroom, and as a paid babysitter since I was 15. I've worked with many ages, from 2 months old to 13 years old, and with many needs, such as autism, illnesses, physical disabilities, and hyperactivity. I have eight years of paid medical experience, as a CNA working in Oncology & Med/Surg, a patient ambassador in the ER, and as an EMT & Paramedic on the ambulance. I hold a current EMT-P license, in addition to CPR, PALS, First Aid, and Babysitting through the American Heart Association and Red Cross. I'm able to help around the house with chores/errands, homework, cooking, or pets. I enjoy cleaning, organizing, crafts/painting, animals, and baking.
