My parents were onto something when choosing the name Athena. Being named after the Greek goddess of wisdom, inspiration and strategic warfare (to name a few), I knew I was born to lead and destined for greatness. I am a proud Mommy to a 12-year-old and I have had a hand in raising my numerous younger family members over 23 years. I love children and believe that young minds need proper love, attention and guidance. Children are our future. My strong, tight-knit family roots and well-rounded education has led me into employment paths where I advanced and took on more responsibility. I do well with problem-solving and brainstorming with others, to find solutions that are a win-win. Love is the answer!
