I currently work at a health and rehabilitation facility, where I started in April 2026 as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA). I passed my CNA exam on August 11, 2026, and have experience providing hands-on care to residents in long-term care, rehabilitation, and memory care. My responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing , as well as assisting with meals, walking, transfers, and repositioning. I also take vital signs, monitor residents for changes in their condition, help keep their rooms clean and comfortable, and report any concerns to the nursing staff. I have experience working with residents with dementia and understand the importance of patience, compassion, and maintaining their dignity and independence while providing care.
