I am a passionate and experienced tutor with over 5 years of hands-on experience supporting students from diverse backgrounds, including foster youth, students with behavioral needs, and those preparing for major exams. With a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a Minor in Human Development from California State University Dominguez Hills, I bring both academic expertise and emotional intelligence to my work. My tutoring background includes roles as an Academic Coach and Area Manager at Leading Edge Learning Center, and as a private Academic Tutor with Grade Potential Tutoring. I have provided targeted academic support to students ages 6-15 in subjects ranging from reading and writing to math and exam preparation--including CBEST tutoring for future educators. I'm known for creating personalized learning plans, fostering confidence, and turning academic challenges into opportunities for growth.
