About Athena

I started nannying in June of 2021 for one family and continued with them up until the kids started preschool 2023. I then became a full-time travel medical assistant and CNA, as well as continuing to babysit once a week for 3 children. I have experiences with all ages, and have a 4-year-old son of my own. We just bought a home in Annandale and are new to the area. I look forward to talking to you! I also want to add that I am very well informed on type one diabetes; I've been type one for over 12 years with tight control. If you have a little one with type one I do require that they have a CGM (as well as a meter for emergency or to check accuracy) and carry a glucagon. I know how nerve racking it can be to trust that someone understands the importance of well managed blood sugar and insulin management, I would love to help out and give you peace of mind.

Athena has a 4 month old of her own. I have a 2 and 4 year old and she managed to juggle all 3 with skill! She has creative ideas for projects and ensures the children have fun-filled days. She takes them on outings and ensures they eat and nap well. I highly recommend her.
