About Athena

I have experience of caring for children of all ages, including newborns and toddlers. I have worked for 3 different families previously. I am also a mother myself of a 12 yr old boy and have 5 nieces who I have cared for regularly. I remember being nervous when I was choosing someone to trust with my son and I realize I am taking the responsibility of crucial developmental time with your child/children while you are not able to be there. I care for all children with an open heart and would protect them as if they were my own. My first college degree obtained was in Early Childhood Education & my second degree was psychology with an emphasis on the development of children. Since then, I have studied a lot about health, nutrition and positive psychology. I am very comfortable to cook, clean and drive if needed (I have a newer and reliable vehicle.) I have lived in the area for 38 years and have many references.
