I moved to Germany to work as an Au Pair for a host family, taking care of three children. After that, I decided to continue as an Au Pair in the US, working in New Jersey with a single mom and her twin girls for four years. I then moved to New York City and worked with various families. Currently, I am employed full-time, caring for a family's three children in Brooklyn. I speak Spanish, English, and German, and I'm learning Italian. We hired Astrid in September to look after our 2 year old son through the school year during the day. She quickly formed a bond with him a and easily handled the separation process in the first two weeks. She always came to work on time and proved herself to be very reliable and responsible. She always followed safety protocols related to Covid and any instructions we would give her related to care. She always went above and beyond to care for our son, engaging him in creative projects, teaching him Spanish, and bringing him surprises on special occasions. We always felt confident that we were leaving our son in the best of hands. We would highly recommend Astrid to any family!
