About Astrid

I'd describe myself as creative, prefer interacting and being there physically for a child. I would describe myself as trustworthy, I know how it can be difficult trusting someone with there child, I like to make sure not just the child trust me but the parents to begin with. Last I would say I am very hands on, with children who need a little bit extra help I enjoy sitting there with them and helping them understand. I enjoy working with kids because I myself grew up with 4 younger siblings, one of them being special needs and the other having learning disability. I enjoyed helping them and even teaching even with there struggles. My skills include patience with kids, especially those with learning disabilities and special needs. I know how to be very helpful, I will work to find a way to help out with kids with homework or whatever they need. I can also be very supportive, knowing that kids love to have an adults to look up to and I strive to be a role model to kids.
