I started working with kids as far back as I can remember. My mom owned a home day care, and when I was old enough I began working in summer camps/ doing summer nanny jobs. After I got an associates degree I was a lead infant teacher at a formal daycare center for one year, and have been a full time nanny apart of a care share with the same three families for the last two years! The ages ranged from 6 months - 8 years old. I use guidance approach techniques that encourage children to build strong relationships, communicate healthily, and make thoughtful choices.
