About Aspen

I'm currently working in the medical field as a surgery scheduler, but I'm looking to grow my childcare experience and make that transition down the road. Childcare is what I find most fulfilling; the work I fell into entering the workforce happened to be medical, but I'd love to get back to working with kids. As the oldest of three girls, I took on babysitting early. I taught both my sisters to swim and ride bikes, and growing up around lots of young kids, I babysat for four families with children aged 4-12. I also helped with tutoring and housework. I'm attentive and engaging, and I keep my phone away except for emergencies. I haven't cared for infants or toddlers yet, but I'm open to learning if a family needs that. I took a childhood development class in high school, and while I don't have CPR yet, I'm happy to certify if you'd like. I'm hoping to build references as a mommies helper, date-night or after-school sitter. If this sounds like a fit, I'd love to connect!
