Hello, I'm a 56-year-old mother of 4 ( now independent adults) , I was lucky to be a stay at home mom until all of my kids left to college, then I enjoyed a couple of part time positions working in an assisted living community , hired by family members privately as a personal caregiver, taking care of an elderly lady and a gentleman with early dementia, I helped with daily personal care , medication discharge, daily activities, cooking and companionship, it comes easy to me to be able to connect with my clients, keeping them engaged and active. It's not just a job to me , I take care of them like I would take care of a family member. For the last year I was taking care of my mother with stage 2 Alzheimer's . I enjoy an active lifestyle, running yoga, movies ( I don't watch TV) books , music , animals and nature.
