About Asia

As an only child I was raised in a household with cousins that I consider siblings of which I am the eldest. I have had the privilege of being a role model to my younger family members and a 3-year-old niece. I have volunteered and worked with children as a tutor, babysitter and youth counselor in multiple programs both paid and unpaid. I admire children and the opportunity to teach and mentor them from a young age. I have also cared for the elderly , in situations where they are bedridden and need complete care. I enjoy reading to and writing with children for recreation and assisting them as a tutor. I am aware of the patience needed to care for children and the constant attention they need in order for them to develop into productive and open minded youth. I am willing to monitor them in the home and to recreational activities, as well as providing transportation if it is needed. I am comfortable with handling multiple children in both the home and classroom style settings.
