If your child is going to be sitting all day , coloring or watching TV, and you're looking for a babysitter to just be there, then she is a good fit. She arrived on time, with a flat face, no smile, not once. I was the one who introduced myself. She did not communicate with my children at all. Didn't ask their names. Didn't even look at them. She looked so uncomfortable that I almost asked her if she wanted to go back. I'd already told her that since it'd be her first time with our children I'd be home the whole time to see how it goes. I'd never seen a person with this much lack of energy and joy. I'd asked in my " sitter request" for an energetic playful babysitter, and she had applied. she was playing with our boys, completely ignoring our baby girl,with her flat face. I overheard her telling " That's not nice" to my boys several times. She had no idea about redirecting or ignoring whatsoever. Even when playing, she would get upset if they paused the game and would tell them she wouldn't play anymore! 30 minutes into her arrival, our 9 year old came downstairs and asked me if she could leave. Our baby started crying, I gave her a minute to see the sitter's reaction. She was sitting there. Not moving an inch. After one minute, she just said:" what's wrong?" ! I would definitely not recommend her.
