About Ashton

Caring for my grandmother during her journey with Lewy Body Dementia was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. My husband and I lived with my parents while saving for a home, and during that time I helped care for her--assisting with bathing, dressing, medications, and meals. More than anything, I focused on bringing her comfort and joy. I listened to her stories, spent time with her through both confusion and clarity, and encouraged her to enjoy simple moments like being outside or doing activities she loved. This experience taught me the value of true companionship--being present, patient, and kind. I would love to support another family by providing companionship to a loved one, offering conversation, connection, and the feeling of spending time with an old friend.
