I have over 15 years of babysitter/nanny experience, caring for children in the home. I have a background in Speech Pathology and Communications, specifically looking into speech disorders in children. I also have experience working for the Epilepsy Foundation and aiding their Department of Education's child interactive group. I have four years of experience as a teacher's assistant in preschools, assisting in 2s, 3s, and 4s classrooms. As a sitter, I have been responsible for tasks that include but are not limited to: pick up from school, homework help, chaperoning play dates, accompanying to appointments and other after-school activities, bath time and bedtime routines, light housekeeping, light cooking, laundry and running household errands. As a nanny, I've been responsible for setting routines for infant/toddler naps and meal times, diaper changing, aiding the transition from bottle to solid foods, reading lots of books and engaging in age appropriate play.
