About Ashton

I have a passion for learning and helping others succeed. My favorite subjects are math and history because I enjoy solving problems, understanding how things work, and learning about the past. I genuinely enjoy school and believe that with the right guidance, every student can build confidence and improve. I'd describe my personality as spontaneous, fun, caring. I like tutoring because I truly believe that, with the right tutor, learning comes naturally. I know what it feels like to struggle in school and how frustrating it can be when something just doesn't make sense. Because of my own experiences, I'm passionate about helping students build confidence, understand difficult concepts, and realize they're capable of succeeding. I started tutoring in my senior year of highschool. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, Golf, play pickleball, read and listen to podcasts. My skills include patience, clear communication and encouragement.
