About Ashtin

Hello everyone! I am 24 years old and have been working with neurodivergent children specifically for almost 7 years as a nanny, speech therapist, play therapist, and teacher's aide in preschool, elementary, and middle school settings. I am currently attending a masters program to become a speech therapist and can only work nights and weekends during my program. I believe in neurodiversity-affirming care no matter what position or role I am fulfilling. When teaching and nannying alike, I prioritise regulation of my clients above all else, since the most learning can be accomplished given healthy boundaries and a calm nervous system according to the most recent scientific studies. Each child has their own unique learning style, support needs, and communication preferences that I consider my highest priority. I am willing to help with household chores and errands as well.
