I have personal experience taking care of my great-grandma, becoming her full time caregiver day and night, both before and after she got dementia. Having grown up with her being the one to raise me when I was young, and then being the one to care for her as she began to age has given me a huge passion, and a deep respect and understanding for the elderly and their welfare.
