About Ashlyn

I am a single mother to 5 wonderful children. 4 of them are pretty much self sufficient teens and they are all kind, compassionate humans with great grades and great behavior. I have raised my kids using gentle, attachment theory parenting and I strive to provide the same safe and supportive environment for any children in my care. In addition to raising my own children, I have been helping families for over a decade as a paid caregiver. My patient, creative, and friendly personality make children warm to me fairly quickly. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, educational games, and technology-based games. I am a software engineer and love teaching kids how to code! I also have experience as a doula and am willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping and travel. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
