About Ashlyn

Hi, I'm Ashlyn! I've cared for kids since I was 10, starting as a mother's helper for newborn twins and a 2-year-old, then babysitting for families in my hometown (ages 0-12). I've also worked with kids with autism. Most recently, I was a kindergarten teacher, and before that a swim coach, so routines, patience, and water safety come naturally! I love sneaking learning into playtime. Kids think we're just playing games, but we're practicing letters, numbers, and problem-solving. I'm a huge animal lover too! I have four cats, grew up with Rottweilers, and have cared for everything from ferrets to geckos. I've volunteered and fostered at a humane society, so I'm happy to help with your pets too. Outside of work, I run, craft, and spend lots of time outdoors. I have a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife, so nature walks and bug hunts are a must! I'm looking for a full-time nanny job and date nights. I have my own car and will renew my CPR/First Aid. Can't wait to meet your family!
