About Ashlyn

Hi! My name is Ashlyn. I recently graduated from Hamilton College in May, where I was a four-year member of the varsity swim team, and I am now a graduate student at Yale School of Nursing pursuing my Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree. My program is three years long, and while I'm in school, I'm looking to pick up babysitting opportunities in the New Haven area. I grew up in Fairfield and have a younger sister who is currently in high school. I have extensive experience working with children and families. Throughout high school, I regularly babysat for families in my neighborhood, and I also worked as a lifeguard, which strengthened my ability to supervise children in a safe, responsible, and engaging way. Furthermore, I was a private swim-lesson instructor for 5 years, working with children from 8 months to 12 years old. In addition, I have been a certified EMT for nearly four years and am trained in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).
