I can help with non-medical needs. Unfortunately, I cannot do any bathing or toileting, but helping dress is fine. I would work best with people who are somewhat self reliant. My experience consists of several past positions and as a child I was around an older woman with Alzheimer's. My first job was in a kitchen of a retirement home. Another I was temporary as an admin assistant in an assisted living facility. I also have worked in 2 different hospitals as an inpatient clerk who assists the nurses and staff with non-medical / indirect patient care. I currently help a man occasionally who has MS - mainly house projects, chores, errands, and other tasks he cannot perform well. I enjoy chatting and hearing about peoples lives if they do feel comfortable sharing. I am not currently, but have been CPR certified numerous times over the year for all ages.
