Last year, I had a job as an AmeriCorps member. My title was a literacy tutor and I tutor six children and help them enhance their reading and writing skills. I also helped in after-school classrooms managing children. I have also been a nanny for the last two years with a wonderful family that had two young boys ages 5 and 8 now. I would pick them up after school, assist with homework and reading, errands, light housekeeping, occasional food preparation, and occasional date nights when needed. I love working with children! I am looking for a part time or full time position.

Ashley is an exceptional babysitter. She went beyond babysitting to help my child. She uses her experiences and training in child development to help my child improve across the spectrum. My child is a slow speaker and she helped my child with speech immensely. She also guided my child on expected behavior in different settings. She is very punctual and does her best to find someone to cover for her when she can't work which is a total plus! She is very patient, funny, and caring. My child loves her and still talks about her even though she has not worked for us for over a year now. Unfortunately, I moved and can no longer have her help. I would not hesitate to hire her again and anyone who has her is very fortunate!
