About Ashley

I'd describe my personality as warm-hearted, patient, and creative. I enjoy working with kids because I love getting to know their personalities and helping them grow and gain confidence. I hope to become a NICU nurse, so working in childcare is a meaningful step toward that goal. I started caring for children around age 12 when my grandmother stopped babysitting and I began helping care for the kids myself. I also helped care for my younger brother whenever my parents weren't home. Since then, I've babysat both babies and older children and always enjoyed building strong connections with them. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, painting, crafting, listening to music, walking with my pets, and working out. My childcare skills include creating fun activities, building connections through conversation, and keeping children entertained in positive and creative ways.
