About Ashley

Hi, My name is Ashley, I am a student at San Jose State, and I am a public health major. I graduate December '23. I have an associates degree in psychology from Merced College. I am currently a student intern for the summer at the Santa Clara County Public Health Department. My work with children began when I started babysitting for family friends when I was 15. I became a nanny after discovering Care. com. I worked mostly with two families for two years each, with children aged newborn to 4 years old. Some of my duties included changing diapers (cloth and disposable), bottles, naps, meal prep, planning outdoor activities, engaging children in fun crafts and games, and bedtime routine (bath and reading books). I've also worked part-time as an Infant Teacher's Aide at a Christian Preschool and Child Care Center. I worked there for a year and I absolutely loved it. More of my experience includes working as an Afterschool STEM Program Leader where I taught 4th and 5th grade girls.
