About Ashley

As I attended college I was a primary caregiver for my grandfather, and my grandmother with dementia. I interned and volunteered for the Alzheimer's Association, post graduation I continued to caregiver for my grandmother and served the Association as a support group facilitator and implemented programming for seniors with dementia. I was a direct care worker and marketer for a memory unit before accepting the role as Administrative Assistant for the Alzheimer's Association. I continued to provide education and caregiver support, and support to families through continued programming and support group facilitator roles. After two years I accepted a position as Activity Director in a Semi Independent Living, where I led daily activities and transported residents on daily outings. Aided residents in activities of daily living as needed in the facility and on outings. Caring for seniors has been my passion and life's work!
