About Ashley

I am very passionate about children and families, mental health, social change, diversity, and more. I have completed research concerning child development and family structures and dynamics from different theoretical perspectives. My drive to serve children and families has lead me to exceptional opportunities to make an impact in the lives of others! I have 3 years of childcare/children and families employment experience. I've worked as an assistant teacher at both a summer school in the 1st & 2nd grade classroom and at the Kishwaukee YMCA. I have youth mentor experience with children in Illinois' foster care system. I have also worked as an ABA therapist for kiddos with Autism! I've been called creative and enthusiastic! I love kiddos of all ages and it shows in my interactions and relationship with them!
