About Ashley

I am currently a Montessori Teacher in New Jersey but I live in Rockland. I earned my bachelors degree from Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York where I was a Childhood/Special Education major with a concentration in History. I have worked with children as a camp counselor and head counselor for over 12 years in a camp. I have also worked dance instructor and a health director at the same camp. Finally, I was given the title of camp director. I also volunteer as a teacher's assistant for the preschool program. I have worked with children ranging from ages three to 15 and I have received over 3000 hours of field experience working with children in both public schools system for students with special needs. I love to have fun and I think it is important to incorporate fun into the learning process. I enjoy helping children with homework, playing board games, choreographing dance routines and playing sports.
