Hello my name is Ashley, I'm 33yrs old and I'm located in the Bronx, NY area. I've been working with children between the ages of newborn- 15yrs old for over 18years. Working with children has always been my passion from an early age. I have experience working at in-home daycares, center based daycares, and early childhood education schools. Previously l worked in a 3k, 4K, infant/toddler classroom as a teacher, nannying, and babysitting. I take pride in assuring parents that I am able to provide a safe and fun environment with high- quality care. Because of this, many parents have given positive feedback about my services and reviews! Finger printed and background checked by DOE and DOH. CDA certified with a high school diploma. Updated CPR, mandated reporter, first aid to name a few. With my skills and experience, l'm able to provide a supervised, safe, and stable environment for your little ones. I am opened to providing care at your home and l also offer babysitting at my home.
Finding the right person to care for your babies can be such a difficult and anxiety driven thing. It can be even harder when you have a child with special needs as navigating their day-to-day needs can be tricky. Luckily for me, I was blessed to have met Ashley. Her communication, organization, proactiveness, as well as her warm and caring nature is why three years later she is our go to when we need daytime, overnight, and weekend care. Ashley has been a part of our family since 2022 when I had my third baby. I had to return to work when my daughter turned 3 months and Ashley took over. From day one I knew that having her with all of my babies was the right decision. Ashley follows any/all instructions as you provide it, but if something randomly comes up that may shift the schedule/instructions, she reaches out immediately for clarification to ensure that your baby is getting everything that they need. She has a keen eye on small behavioral changes that may signal that baby is getting sick or that something is off and she's always right! She also comes prepared with functional toys/supplies that help with your child developing some of their motor skills (both fine and gross), which I think is fantastic. Ashley is also amazing with children with special needs. My oldest is on the spectrum and she immediately gravitated to Ashley when she first started with us. She's never been super verbal, but right away she wanted to know Ashley's name, what she was doing, and she wanted to sit near her the entire time. It can be difficult finding care for a child with Autism, but when your own baby feels safe and secure enough to get close to someone they've just met, it really does showcase Ashley's warm and caring nature. And just to be clear my daughter does not have an easy time with new people. Three years later, my daughter literally jumps for joy when she sees Ashley walk into the house. What really highlights how amazing, caring, and nurturing Ashley is was when she stepped in during a really difficult time for me. In April 2024 after welcoming my fourth baby, my son, I could not be with him when he went home after 3 days. Dad had to return to work 2 days after my son was discharged from the hospital, so we needed to find someone quick! At just 5 days old, Ashley stepped in and cared for him day and night until I was medically cleared to go home, which was about a week and a half later. She then spent the next 4 months caring for not just my babies but for me, until I was physically able to get back on my feet and recover after heart surgery. Just imagine the level of trust one must have to be able to feel secure with someone being with your 5-day old baby for months while you were physically and medically unable to. I've entrusted my babies with Ashley, and you should too. Ashley continues to be a part of our family, spending weekends with the kiddos while Dad and I attend family and work events that take us away from home. The kids love her and will at times ask if Mommy and Daddy will go to work so that they can spend time with Ashley. It is quite funny and cute because they really love being with her. There really is no better person to have with your babies than Ashley.
