Hi everyone! I'm Ashley and I have about 14 years experience with home health/ senior care! I worked for Butterfield Court in Kankakee (in the Alzheimer's unit) for a few years but then drifted into private care. I like it much more because of the one on one care I get to provide! I have worked many home care jobs and have become very close with every family I have worked for! I have done everything from insulin, medication management, colostomy bags, showers, errands, companionship and even vacationed with one of my families in Florida. I have stayed with every client I have had until they have passed away and continue to maintain great friendships with the families after their loved one is gone. I feel like I am an old soul and love the elderly because of the wisdom, advice & company they bring! I can provide great references from my past families as well! I am also a non smoker! Ashley was an incredible blessing to our family! She was so good to our Mom! Her duties included light meal prep and clean up, making sure medicines and breathing treatments were administered on time, as well as general care and companionship. She followed the schedule we had created for Mom and communicated with us if there were questions or concerns. Ashley engaged with Mom and was more like a member of the family. We are so grateful for the care she provided our Mom.
