About Ashley

Caring for people is more than a job for me. My grandmothers instilled in me a deep love for supporting others. One of my grandmothers was a CNA until cancer struck, and the other had dementia. I witnessed the incredible impact compassionate caregivers had on both of them, and our families. I bring a compassionate and empathetic approach to my work. I have a high school degree, 5 years paid, 8 years unpaid experience providing respite care, experience with special needs, transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I am skilled in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion. I prioritize creating a comfortable environment and follow the family's preferred communication method, including written daily reports and verbal updates. With a car and comfort around pets, I'm ready to assist your loved one. I hope to bring the same comfort and support to your family that my grandmothers' caregivers provided to mine.
